Light Within the Shadows - Full Marching Band Show

Commissioned by the Monticello High School Marching Band

Light Within the Shadows, is a musical representation of the ability to find the good within everything, no matter how bad it may seem. The show opens with a joyous fanfare movement but falls apart into a surprise dissonant climax that leads us to a dark second movement. The Light theme from the opener is then used in a Dark setting and ends with a closer that leads us back to the Light.
This show features 2 optional synth parts that blend together perfectly with the Marching Band orchestration.
